Timișoara's office market is one of the most mature regional markets in Romania, having grown strongly over the past 15 years on the back of the city's economic growth, foreign investment and the expansion of the IT&C, automotive, engineering and business-services sectors. Its strategic position in western Romania, the proximity to Central Europe and the road infrastructure have helped consolidate Timișoara as an important regional business centre.

## History

2018–2019 was one of the most active periods for the local market, with a significant volume of deliveries and transactions. The extension of existing projects and the arrival of new developments grew the modern stock considerably, and Timișoara consolidated its position as one of Romania's main regional office centres.

## Amenities and access

The office supply is dominated by modern projects with efficient floor plates and configuration options for companies of different sizes. Modern buildings generally offer complementary amenities and technical standards suited to corporate occupiers.

Timișoara has a well-developed urban infrastructure and public transport, and air access through Timișoara International Airport. For companies with international operations, the air connectivity and the city's position in western Romania are important advantages.
