West
The West is one of Bucharest's main office sub-markets, developed along the Iuliu Maniu – Preciziei – Militari corridor, with supply concentrated in modern projects and business campuses. The area has direct access to the metro network and good connections to the city centre and the west of the capital.

The area, at a glance
Western Bucharest developed around the Politehnica and Militari poles and the axes towards the A1. The area combines modern office projects with quick access to the motorway and to the large residential districts. It is chosen by companies that balance costs with accessibility for employees.
History
The Gara de Nord–Grozăvești–Politehnica corridor is Bucharest's second-oldest industrial area: first food and military factories, then machine-building plants in the communist period. For decades, Grozăvești remained a working-class and student district, with the Spicul bread factory and the Regie student halls. Semănătoarea metro station, opened on 19 November 1979 on the M1 line, was renamed Petrache Poenaru in 2009. The conversion started with the Apaca halls, built between 1948 and 1986 and turned into offices from 2007 onwards, under the name Cotroceni Business Center. CA Immo built Orhideea Towers between 2015 and 2019, and One United Properties delivered the first phase of One Cotroceni Park in December 2021. In 2024, Sector 6 City Hall announced an urban regeneration plan for the Grozăvești district.
