FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does RICS-compliant mean?

A report prepared to the international RICS standards (the Red Book): independent valuer, documented methodology, explicitly stated assumptions. The standard banks, auditors and institutional investors ask for.

How long does a valuation take?

It depends on the property type and how complete the file is. The deadline is set at the brief, before we commit, and it is kept; portfolios get a per-asset calendar.

What documents do I need?

A recent land-registry extract, the cadastral documentation and, for let properties, the leases and the income statement. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what and where to get it.

Can I use the report with my bank?

The reports follow RICS standards and the format lenders require. We confirm your bank’s specific requirements before we start, so the report goes through the first time.

Do you value entire portfolios?

Yes. The portfolio is valued consistently, with one methodology and a common report framework, so the numbers compare across assets instead of seven differently written reports.

Send us the property. We tell you exactly what happens next.

Tell us what you are valuing and for what purpose. You get the deadline, the document list and the cost before you commit to anything.
