In a transaction brokered by Crosspoint Real Estate, Carol Davila University acquires the Quest building for the Institute for Research and Development in Genomics (ICDG)

Carol Davila University has completed the purchase of the Quest boutique building, located in central-eastern Bucharest.

The acquisition of this modern building, built last year, represents a significant step in achieving the long-term goals of the Institute for Research and Development in Genomics (ICDG). This will allow the development of the laboratories necessary to carry out and derive value from basic and applied research activities in the field of omic sciences. The building, with a GBA of 4,500 square meters, has state-of-the-art spaces and will be designed to house the national genomics infrastructure, thus strengthening the position of the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the field of medical research in Romania.

The building has 8 floors and two underground levels offering 38 parking spaces. It was chosen following a rigorous assessment process that involved strict requirements for the architectural design and state-of-the-art technical equipment necessary for genomics research.
